This policy describes what information Southwest Auction Service ("SWA," "we," "us") collects through this website and how we use it. We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to run our auctions and classified-ad service, and we don't sell your information to anyone.

What we collect

• Classified-ad submissions. When you submit an ad we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), your ad's text and photos, and your preference for how buyers may contact you.
• Payments. The listing fee is processed by PayPal. Your card or bank details go to PayPal directly; we never see or store them. We keep a record of the payment (amount, date, PayPal reference, and your contact details) for bookkeeping and receipts. PayPal's own privacy policy applies to the checkout: paypal.com/privacy.
• Email correspondence. If you email us or join our mailing/text list, we keep that correspondence and contact information.
• Basic technical logs. Like most websites, our server records requests (IP address, page, time) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

• To publish and manage your classified ad, including showing buyers the contact details you chose to display.
• To process your listing fee and provide your receipt and reference number.
• To contact you about your ad (approval, questions, or issues) or about auctions you've asked to hear about.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

What we share

The contact details you choose for your ad are shown to site visitors who ask to see them; that's the point of the ad. Beyond that, we share information only with the services that run this site (payment processing via PayPal, email delivery, and website hosting), or if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to function (for example, staff sign-in and form-security cookies). We don't run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention & your choices

Ads and payment records are kept as business records. If you'd like an expired ad taken down, your contact details removed from an old ad, or a copy of the information we hold about you, just ask: call (417) 652-7540 or email shayla@swaauction.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
